Awful Experience
Lil Wayne went on and he did an awesome job, but I was so excited for this concert and it disappointed.
It was definitely a waste of $50 x 2, as I paid the full price for these tickets versus half the other people who got their tickets on groupon.
I will probably not pay full price tickets for lawn anymore, and just wait when tickets go on groupon for now on so if this happens again it doesn't hit the bank as much.
Out in the lawn it just sounded muffled and you couldn't even enjoy it, sounded like we were way out in the parking lot when we were in the lawn.
If I got my tickets on groupon for $20, I wouldn't have been as pissed, but $50 for 2 tickets is a lot for lawn tickets when you can't even hear the band.
First Teddy Swims went on late - which didn't bother me. Then when they went on, we couldn't even hear them in the lawn, as if the speakers in the lawn weren't working.
I messaged the amphitheater, and they said it was the bands "low end" sound system. It was just sad, as I have been to a lot of concerts there and it has always sounded great for us.
We ended up leaving earlier, and I have heard from other friends that this has happened before at this amphitheater. Hopefully they get it fixed or the band gets it fixed - whoevers fault it was.
If it was something on their end, then they need to operationally have someone who is out in the lawn who can sound check when bands go on to make sure it sounds good.
